        Carol Marks’ considerable experience in nearly every area of the performance business, has served her well as an entrepreneur.  From ballet to vocalist, from vocalist to band leader, from band leader to business owner, Carol has successfully blended her stage savvy with good business sense, drawing from that experience.  What she started in 1971, which was primarily a local music agency, has grown into a total entertainment company which now provides all manner of entertainment for both private and corporate events.  Despite the many changes in the entertainment industry, Carol has adapted, and maintained a reputation as a trusted source for high quality performers.  Most importantly, Carol has been successful in building long term relationships with her clients, because of the outstanding customer service she continues to provide.

                  Presley is a musician, writer, graphic artist, and handy man.  The oldest of seven (with his twin brother), he grew up singing in harmony with his siblings at churches and functions.  His parents passed down a legacy of music, dance, performance, and good manners, all of which he still applies to his life and career today.   As an adult, he has played drums, keyboards, guitar, bass, and saxophone for many ensembles and recordings.  He has performed as a vocalist and dancer in some of the most noted national cover bands, and continues to do so along with Deejaying and engineering sound for various events.  As a member of our team, he utilizes his knowledge and experience to connect our clients with the very best entertainment available for truly memorable experiences.

          Working for Carol Marks Entertainment has allowed Melissa to combine her love for music and her extensive customer service skills into her “perfect job”. As a child Melissa loved to sing and perform. As a teen and young adult, she was very actively involved in the choir programs at both the high school and collegiate level. She has performed for such historic figures as: Rosa Parks and Mikhail Gorbachev and at such events as the International Association of Jazz Educators Conference. She was also a member of the Texas Junior College State Choir.

            As an adult in the “real world”, her love for people and service led her to the retail business where she has worked as a manager in everything from small “mom & pop” stores to the “big box” retailers. As she worked with brides as a registry consultant, she developed a desire to learn more about the wedding and event business. This interest, combined with her extensive customer service skills, led her to Carol Marks Entertainment in 2014. She looks forward to continuing to learn the business and help assist our clients create memorable events.
