Jennifer plays and sings all kinds of different styles...everything from jazz, pop, and R&B to country. She grew up liking all types of music from all eras, starting with great composers like Chopin, Scriabin, and Debussy. Cole Porter, Billy Strayhorn, Duke Ellington, the Gershwin brothers, Henry Mancini, and Hoagy Carmichael. Being a jazz lover, some of her favorite jazz composers and performers are Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Jaco Pastorius, and Horace Silver. Although a jazz lover, she also spent lots of time checking out Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Steely Dan, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, and Pink Floyd.
