BLACKJACK

Blackjack is a game of skill where the objective is to have a hand value closer to 21 than that of the dealer, without going over 21. The value of a hand is simply the sum of the point counts of each card. While the Dealer must play his hand in a specific way, Players may draw, stand, split pairs and double down to improve their chances and enhance their winnings.

CRAPS

The first roll in a Craps round is called the come out roll. If the dice total is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 then the point is established. On the other hand a total of 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12 on the come out roll immediately ends the round. When the point has been established, an “ON” puck will be placed on the point. After the point is rolled the dice will be rolled continuously until the same point is rolled again or a 7.

TX HOLD'EM

In the poker game Texas Hold 'Em, a player's hand consists of two hole cards, which belong solely to the player and remain hidden from the other players. Five community cards are also dealt into play. Betting begins before any of the community cards are exposed, and continues throughout the hand. The player's "playing hand", which will be compared against that of each competing player, is the best 5-card poker hand available from his two hole cards and the five community cards.

ROULETTE

Roulette is a true game of chance where you bet on a number, color, odd/even, high/low, or a group of numbers on the Roulette table. The Roulette wheel and ball are spun, with winnings determined by the slot on the Roulette wheel where the ball finally stops.

A Casino Party Synopsis

**These are suggestions but we can customize your party any way you like**

When to Begin Casino: The casino portion of a party usually begins after the start time of an event, allowing people time to arrive, mingle, eat, or enjoy the presentation or awards. Allow one hour after dinner is scheduled or thirty minutes after arrival time, if a dinner is not served. The casino parties are scheduled for three hours.

Tickets and Prizes: As guests arrive, they can be given tickets (just let us know how much in casino money the tickets are worth). Or we can arrange to supply fake money for the casino portion of the party. We usually recommend $2,000, as the minimum bet is $25. When the casino opens, the guests present the tickets or fake money to the dealer at any table in exchange for the chips. At the end of the casino portion, the chips are exchanged either for tickets (to be used in drawings for prizes), or as a voucher (used for an auction for prizes). We suggest that you provide some form of prizes, as this lends more excitement to the gambler within us!! A "How-To" book for the person with the least money is always fun.

If you use Tickets, just put a box or gift bag in front of each prize. We usually suggest one ticket for every $500 in chips. The people then deposit one side of each ticket and keep the other. The spokesperson then shakes the tickets and draws a winner. Normally, you have to be present to win. However, you can let the people put their name on the back of the ticket they deposit and contact the winner if they have already left.

Prizes do not have to be expensive, a bottle of wine, a gift card at Home Depot, Target, etc., a Car Detailing.... just small things that people would enjoy.

If no prizes are offered, the chips are simply turned in to the dealer and the casino portion of the event is done. It should be noted that awarding prizes for casino winnings is legal in Texas, as long as no one has to buy chips, or otherwise pay to play.

The dealers are also trained to teach players how to play each of the games while playing (a great time to learn "craps"), or you could designate one blackjack table and one craps table for learners. This way the experienced players are not "slowed down" and the beginners feel free to ask as many questions as needed.

**We suggest including music or other forms of entertainment (Strolling Magicians, Tarot Card Readers, Palmists, Caricaturists, etc.) at your party. A few of your guests might prefer other choices during the evening. You could add a disk jockey, a jazz band or a full blown party band. After the casino ends, most of your playing guests will join in on the dancing, etc.**

Parties and Theme Nights: Casino nights are fantastic entertainment or turn it into a theme night, e.g. James Bond Nights, Wild West Saloon Nights, Vegas Nights, Gangster Nights or Hollywood Nights. We can help you design the party to fit your theme.

For events such as Dinners, Dances, Weddings, Parties etc., the casino can compliment your broader entertainment program and help make your event a truly memorable occasion.

Corporate Events: For corporate clients, why not use our casino at your office party, in your team-building program or even at your open house. The gaming provides a great "ice breaker" and its novelty is sure to attract the crowds.

Fundraisers: While our casino is strictly for fun and involves no gambling, a casino night does provide an excellent fundraising opportunity for your charity or community group.
